Major issue to survive.
While the rest of the world has financial problems as Oil leaps past $70, China has Bra Problems! Which one would you choose?
Here's the story!
New Proposals To End 'Bra Wars' Deadlock
EU trade commissioner Peter Mandelson has "set in motion" measures to end the so-called "bra wars" with China.
He had said if his suggestions were accepted by member states the millions of goods currently impounded could be released by the middle of September.
The EU and China are deadlocked over quotas for textile imports from China.
It has led to millions of bras, T-shirts, sweaters, blouses and trousers being stockpiled in customs warehouses.
Mr Mandelson said: "I cannot accept that EU retail businesses should be penalised unfairly by the introduction of the agreement we made with China. I have therefore set in motion procedures to unblock the goods that have been caught."
No details of the steps being taken have been given. Mr Mandelson's handling of the dispute has come under fire from the Tories.
Shadow trade and industry secretary David Willetts said: "Tens of millions of items of clothing are impounded all across Europe.
"This is all because of absurd European protectionism which the British government and Peter Mandelson should never have agreed to."
